Bootloader give me unknown CPU hang, for Ryzen 5 - 2600

Hi All

I'm trying to start a Hackintosh High Sierra 10.13.5 installation:
- MSI B350 PC Mate
- Ryzen 5 - 2600

- Radeon Pro 580 GPU

- 4 x 8GB DDR4
(Have a working clover bootloader for HS 10.13.3 - but for some reason, I can't use that setup with the 10.13.5)

Have tried different bootloader setup, with different outcomes...

ATM. I get this error/hang - "Unknown CPU: family = 0x17, model = 0x8, Stepping = 0x2"
Have search google, and can see that the threads ppl. are getting this, is when they look at "About this mac", I haven't yet installed the OSX.

So can someone help...

I'm running the newest Kexts: AppleALC, FakeSMC, Lilu, RealtekRTL8111, USBInjectAll and WhateverGreen.
In Bootloader setup, i'm running: -v, -s, -f, -no_compat_check, busratio=34, PCIRootUID=1, npci=0x2000, dart=0 and nv_disable=1
In SMBIOS i'm using the iMac18,2 and in RT i'm using BooterConfig: 0x28 and CsrActiveConfig: 0x67
In installed drivers i'm using: AptioMemoryFix, EmuVariableUefi-64, OsxAptioFixDrv-64 (Have tried Fix2 as well)

But i'm, keep getting the Unknown CPU hang/error, can someone help...
Or do someone have a setup with the same CPU and GPU, that can show me his/her setup for Bootloader/Kexts...

You should post in the dedicated High Sierra AMD section...

Now, which kernel are you using?

I suggest you read this and look here and here.

Ahh Yes sry.

ATM. i'm using the:
Ryzen_Kernel_10.13.1.zip - Ryzen_Kernel_10.13

But have downloaded the 10.13 All CPU_SSE4.1 kernel_bronya and AMD.10.13.3.Kernel.zip, will you recommend one of them or something else?

The following files exist on the github:

      a) Clover.app-v1.11-5100.zip
      b) Clover_v2.5k_r5100.pkg
      c) CloverISO-5100.tar.lzma
      d) CloverV2-5100.zip
      e) CLOVERX64.efi.zip

Is (a) for installing as an app on OSX? What is it for?

What is (b) for, the .pkg? Not exactly familiar with .pkg. I've seen it used in UNIX, but I believe it's also a PKG format for installing packages on OSX. So, what is the difference between this (b), and (a)? (a) is labeled v1.11-5100, while (b) is labeled v2.5k_r5100.
      (c) contains only this file, Clover-v2.5k-5100-X64.iso, which I assume is a pre-bootloader.
      (d) looks like the NON ISO version, to build an ISO?
      (e) Contains CLOVERX64.efi, which is the same CloverX64.efi for Clover.app-v1.11-5100 and CloverV2-5100.zip

      Thanks for any explanations.

Hi all, I have been using an x240 thinkpad for more than 2 months as hackintosh and it is very stable. As of now I am in Catalina 10.15.1 and it’s running great until I updated it to the new clover build r5100. My laptop won’t automatically sleep when I close the lid down now. I reverted back to 5099 and close-lid automatic sleep works. I don’t know what caused the problem but I think 5100 fixed a dsdt patching of some sort that that conflicted with my config plist? Thanks in advance!

Gigabyte, in their infinite wisdom, decided to remove the option to disable serial ports, and not being able to do so has been causing me some problems. I know that I have to either use a patch in clover, or create a custom SSDT to disable super I/O, but I honestly do not know how to go about doing this. One of the weirder problems I'm experiencing is the inability to connect to Apple Music (error 11556) unless I go into my network settings, and delete my serial connection. If anyone could help me out with this, that'd be greatly appreciated; anyway, thank you for taking the time to read this.
