Shimms Posted November 18, 2006 Share Posted November 18, 2006 I've got a pioneer dvd rw that no longer shows up in OS X. BIOS sees it fine, however according to System Profiler "No burning device was found. If you are using an external device please make sure that it is connected and powered properly." I don't use it much, so I'm not 100% sure when it stopped working, it might have been around the 10.4.8 upgrade. Anyone got any ideas? wingk1314 Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 bump i have the same problem too. It was working flawlessly in my previous install which is exactly the same as my current one. I havn't installed/modified any new hardware between the two installs as well. Anyone got any suggestions?
