BudgeTechReviews
Hello everyone, my name is Mike and I'm new here. I am not sure if I am posting this in the right area of the forums but here goes, so I am building a hackintosh, specifically replicating SnazzyLabs (Youtube $350) build. So I bought all the necessary components, put together the hardware but when I turn on the PC to update the Bios on the motherboard, I get a blank screen with 4 long beeps and 1 very short beep before the computer reboots itself. Now I've already unplugged the Ram, and even replaced the 8gb ram stick that I was using and nothing. Any insights or help would be greatful. All in all, it would appear that something is not connected/fitted in properly (CPU? RAM module? Fab? ...) and you'll have to find out by yourself. I have double checked everything and even had a friend come over who is a computer tech and we could not figure out why I am getting these beep codes. He said it is most likely the motherboard or onboard gpu.
