cloverbay
I have a TUF1 X299 Asus board. nVidia GTX970 graphics. Crucial MX500 1TB ssd drive. Intel 7820x 8 core CPU. 32GB corsair RAM. I tried using KGP method on his blog but didn't work. There's some allocation area error message. Tried other aptio efi as suggested but no luck. BIOS settings is set according to KGP's guide. But my CSM cannot be disabled, it says my graphics is non UEFI? I checked in windows GPU-z it clearly says UEFI, not sure if this is the problem. MSR is disabled/unlocked. 4G decoding tried enable and disable. Anyone here has a similar setup care to share the EFI folder? Any Asus X299 boards with 7820x cpu & nvidia graphics? All the reading of using configurator, xcode compiling, etc make my head spin. No clue what those are about. I have a macbook pro so I already made a High Sierra boot USB disk. I can copy EFI folder into the USB EFI folder to test. Thank you very much in advance. And I also don't mind if it is for older Sierra OS, I have that boot disk made too. Prefer to stick with HFS+ file system.
