dannygemrickson
I got my MacBook Pro a few months ago and the heat and battery were great. It got a little worse after High Sierra update. Recently, it suddenly get got really easily and the battery drains significant faster. I tried reinstalling macOS and resetting the SMC but the problem is still there. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried bringing it to Apple but they suggest doing the same thing that I did and said they can't do anything unless I can show them. I wasn't going to sit there and browse the web and wait for it to get hot.
PippoX0
Backup your MacBook and then try to make a clean install of macOS Sierra or High Sierra Install HWsensors to monitor CPU heat. You can also install Intel Power gadget to monitor CPU ... I also suggest you to use Etrecheck ... Tell us if you have resolved the issue Sent from my iPad with Tapatalk
