Drovosek
Hey, guys. I just installed and configured my amd Hackintosh El Capitan 10.11.6 with the Enoch (Chameleon) r2908 bootloader. I have a weird sound card (VIA VT1708S @ ATI SB750) but I managed to find a working kex for it here: To make the kext work properly, I first removed the AppleHDA and AudioAUUC kexts from /S/L/E/ and install VoodooHDA using KextUtility. Now, when I turn off or restart the Hackintosh, after turning off I see a black screen and the cursor for another 5 minutes. The cursor can be moved. How to make Hackintosh shut down faster? (Sorry for my english, I use translator) My PC: AMD Phenom II x4 B45 3GHz, Asus M4A785T-M (Legacy only), ATI Radeon HD 5770, 4GB Edited June 6, 2018 by Drovosek added some text Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/334316-long-shutdown-hakintosh-how-to-make-hackintosh-shut-down-faster/ Share on other sites
Drovosek
I noticed that when you disable the kernel cache in Chameleon Wizard, Hackintosh turns off a little bit faster, but still a few minutes a black screen with the cursor.
