IMHO USB 2.0 can avoid many errors, but today USB 3.0 are native. The amount, 8GB ok, 16GB great! I have tried in the past with a USB 3.0 stick connected to port 3.0 and I received a forbidden sign on the boot. I solved this problem by connecting the 3.0 stick to a normal port (2.0). So? Allan Posted June 7, 2018 Share Posted June 7, 2018 If you really wanna learn something, you can follow this guide: Making a bootable High Sierra USB Installer Entirely From Scratch in Windows or Linux Mint (without access to Mac or App Store Installer.app) Or using a easy way, it's download the image at Olarila Forum, burn it on your Pendrive and boot the macOS. Use the search box, you'll find many guides as the one that I posted above. In theory your system should be able to run Mojave. However, since Mojave is just a beta at this moment, problems might come up that will need additional fixing.
