Unbelievable slow loading

I don't know what is really wrong with this site.

Every single page is taking 20-30 seconds to load, if not more.

This is going on for weeks by now. Without seeing any improvements.

Is the site hosted in Siberia or what?

I do not have a particular speed problem, except with the 'Downloads' page only. The first time clicked on 'Downloads' tab, the page takes about 30-45 sec and ends up opening with a

504 Gateway Time-out

But after a first refresh, the page opens quickly. Have this behavior since the last forum upgrade.

In Safari startup Web Inspector and reload some pages and watch in awe the rendering of the page.

Some pages load reasonably quick, others only starts rendering after 4-5 seconds.

Something IS wrong...

And this is not meant to fight or whatever, it is just an observation. I am on a real fast network and I know when something is slow/faulty. And lately this site and SourceForge are way off.

Well, what a good night sleep does..... 

The slow loading seems to have disappeared, I am still careful though. 

Anybody care to explain what changed, pretty please?

Anyway it feels good to have good, fast loading pages again! Well done!

Ridiciously slow loading is back, sigh.

Very slow loading for me too, other pages are fine..
