The eGPU is designed to work on TB3 connection at 40gbs and not USB3.1 10gbs. Also keep in mind that an eGPU is only going to give about 3/4 the performance of the card it's using compared to it being connected internally to a full ePCI connection. Thanks, I am planning to have eGPU as a second GPU for video processing if it can boost a little it will be great, after replacing my GTX 760 to probably GTX 1080 I'm sure I can take some advantage of the 760... I would say its not worth your time and money at this point.
