I bought a: Biostar I915G (i don't remember model, now) P4 530 (3ghz SSE3) I have this 2 dvd: Marklar-Tiger.iso (4gb) Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger for Intel x86.dmg (2.44gb) I read at least 100 posts but I didn't understand why and if i have to patch this dvd. Can i install directly from one of these DVD? Which one? Or do i patch my dvd with one of these two generic dvd patcher? Generic_OSx86_Install_DVD_Patcher_Release1.rar (146,3mb) Generic_OSx86_Install_DVD_Patcher_test3.rar (39,2mb) if I understood, Maxxuss patches must be executed in an installed machine and not before. I DON'T want to install with deadmoo image (tiger.bz2...) Which is the best choice for me, considered that i have a SSE3 CPU and Intel Media Accelerator 900 video card? Since you have a 915 chipset, you should only need to patch rosetta (oah750/750d) get the Maxxuss .5c files -- using winrar extract oah750 and oah750d files for sse3 using transmac, open the Marklar iso and copy the oah750 and oah750d files to /usr/libexec/oah/ exit and burn You'll need to get the ac97 audio kext for sound support after you install (not sure if you can include this in the dvd) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or may i put these files after i install everything from "clean" dvd? P.s. I haven't windows in my home!! Only Mac Os X (PPC) and three linux... P.P.s.
