Peke Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 Hello guys. I need all the help that anyone can give me to load the best DSDT for my Hackintosh. Sadly this is my first time doing this and my knowledge over DSDT or SSDT is near zero. I spent a lot of time reading different post and everything that was possible but all that I achieved was my DSDT.aml via F4 over Clover when booting. System specs. -Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.2 (17C88) -MB: Asus Maximus Hero VIII (BIOS 3703) -RAM 16 GB ( 8 x 2) DDR 4 Kingston Hyper X 2400 MHX (OC 2666) -GPU Asus Strix 980 Ti OC DC3 6MB -High Sierra OS installed over Kingston Hyperx Savage SSD 480GB ( I got 2 more SSD and a HDD but those are under windows 10. I got dual boot managed by clover over different SSD to avoid UEFI boot loaders mess) -Display LG 24GM77 DVI My build is functional with Nvidia Web Driver : 3378.10.10.10.25.102 at this moment. Got HWmonitor working with all sensors. Ethernet is ok. Im going now to install now my sound kext that I got identified. I`ll appreciate any help. Until today I installed and created the install media reading and watching videos but DSDT is beyond my understanding right now and sadly I didn't found any patch DSDT for my motherboard. Just windows EFI. I can enter my base installation with the USB as emergency backup. I just deleted the old Clover folder and replaced with the new one. Peke Posted January 19, 2018 Author Share Posted January 19, 2018 Audio Onboard is ok. Sleep was working before with no problems. I´ll test it tomorrow as now I need to go. I`ll keep you informed. And thanks. You invested a lot of time helping me. I will write later a complete Guide over my installation to help others as I did from scratch with createinstallmedia, Bios settings ,SSD hfs+ (working with terminal over clover, etc). Or is already covered with the new DSDT? I already followed some instructions with ssdtPRGen.Master and made my own for my processor (Its not loaded anyways.) I ask this because I checked with intel power gadget the frequency of my cpu and found it never drops below 1,5. GHZ and always near 2.4 GHZ even in idle. Is this normal? Attached the picture.
