hey guys,

it's a weird issue i have here, it's frustrating.  i have a couple of wireless cards, Tplink archer t8e and t9e, they both work in all MacOSx versions ive tried.

in a hack, 10.11.6 wake on wifi is supported in system profile, but when these cards are in a real Mac Pro 3.1 it doesnt show as supported. what the fk?

i've setup the Mac Pro 3.1 with High Sierra, using MacPeet's hack and i had high hopes that wake on wifi will work, i really need it, the whole build depends on it.  It looks like i'll have the buy the official Mac Pro wifi module? really dont want to, those archer cards work great and arent cheap.

is there any way to hack this? is there any card that will do wake on wifi in a mac pro?

I have the Archer t9e tp-link card installed and ever since I upgraded to High Sierra it is slow as hell. 10.13.2

I mean we're talking less than 5 megabits per second with a Google speed test. Sometimes it's under 1 megabit

I don't have any drivers installed because it's supposed to be supported by Mac OS and I'm not really sure what to do myself but it does not work for me like it's supposed to and a lot of other people are complaining about these cards being very slow in Mac OS but not when they boot into Windows which is what I'm experiencing. It flies and Windows 10 which is very sad.
