  1. I have the Archer t9e tp-link card installed and ever since I upgraded to High Sierra it is slow as hell. 10.13.3 I mean we're talking less than 5 megabits per second with a Google speed test. Sometimes it's under 1 megabit I don't have any drivers installed because it's supposed to be supported by Mac OS and I'm not really sure what to do myself but it does not work for me like it's supposed to and a lot of other people are complaining about these cards being very slow in Mac OS but not when they boot into Windows which is what I'm experiencing. It flies and Windows 10 which is very sad. Is there a confirmed issue with these cards. This thing costed me over $70 bucks and seemed to work fine in Sierra.

TP Link Archer T8E / T9E and Mac OSX

I have the Archer t9e tp-link card installed and ever since I upgraded to High Sierra it is slow as hell. 10.13.2 I mean we're talking less than 5 megabits per second with a Google speed test. GTX1060 flickering after sleep on 10.12.4

I just updated to 10.13.3 with latest web drivers http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/130460/en-us Restarted a couple of times, no flickering glitchy weirdness after log in. Put it to sleep and resumed with no issue. I think this may have fixed it for me [update] January 29th, 2017 I have not had any flickering at all. This fixed the glitchy flicker problem. Now, i just did all the updates like normal, but if you update to 10.13.3 look it up, there are a couple of .efi files that can cause a problem and may need to be removed. Also consider the following: on another 'forum' I saw a mention of this: "NOTE: Users have reported bugs with the latest drivers for 10.3.3. Temporary method to use older drivers..." Problem 5: Updated OS X and new drivers aren't available yet Fix: modify the NVDAStartup.kext to force the older drivers to load. Open up terminal and enter the following command: sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartupWeb.kext/Contents/Info.plist Enter your password and scroll down to where it says NVDARequiredOS Change the build number below that to your current build number Rebuild kernel cache suing the two commands from Problem #4 Reboot

GTX1060 flickering after sleep on 10.12.4

Update: I've found that when it resumes from sleep and I experience the problem, I can just turn off my ultrawide monitor and power it back on. Is anyone else using an ultrawide 21:9 monitor or just me? Also, I noticed if I can manage to put it back to sleep, and resume it fixes sometimes.

GTX1060 flickering after sleep on 10.12.4

I'm experiencing this same issue. After installing the web driver it worked fine but then noticed the screen going bonkers like the computer was trying to format the resolution properly and couldn't find it. Do any of you have a 21:9 Monitor? Mine is a qhd LG 34 inch 34um88-p. It was working fine for over a week. Now the last couple days I get these issues but on an updated 10.12.6.
  8. RacerMaster, are you sure that applies to *all* resolutions greater than 1080 becasue the readme on that says "targets at patching system essentials dynamically to enable 4k OR GREATER resolutions"... My monitor isn't 4k, what do you think? I'm only asking, Racer, because This Thread says if it's less than 3840x2160, it's not required. [EDIT] Thank you RacerMaster, I used the files in this link to get it to work. I had to log into my computer from chome remote desktop on my laptop to fix it, but it worked. It rebooted all fuzzy again and I just went to Display settings and clicked the right resolution. I also saw some of your other contributions on reddit. Thank you for your help, expertise and patince with my inexperienced self to you and Hervé. I've been working at this since 1PM and it's nearly 9:30 . Where can I make a donation for your time?
  9. Crapola, I forgot about the bad blood between this forum and those guys. I didn't even look at what forum it was on. But I did remove it. thank you for reminding me So It is "working" but won't recognize my monitor still and shows "Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000 3mb." It was 1536 MB before? I feel like i'm missing one thing somewhere. I am sure my BIos is set correctly but if there is something in it that might be holding me back, maybe I need a bit of hand holding there. I've been working on this all day. Even tried switchrezX, but it doesn't recognize my monitor. I used it before and it worked fine. I've attached a Ioreg file. Is this right? 10. I used another tool that another member suggested that zips it up, sorry. I did change the system definition too! Thank you for that suggestion. I got it working, the video seems correct, except the mac doesn't seem to understand what resolution to display on my mac and I got it to display a low but visible resolution. My monitor is 21:9 aspect, Full HD 2560 x 1080. I used another mac to use Chrome Remote desktop i had installed before to log in and access the computer and change the resolution to something visible. Glad I had that! I highly recommend it to others. I installed the tool: mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2 But I haven't got it to properly recognize them monitor and give me the right resolutions. I'm stuck :/
  11. updated to include ioreg file. I'm learning! Thank you. I am trying the first one as we speak. I"ll post back if i have any other issues. One problem I continue to have was wake from sleep. If you can link me something about that, i'd be grateful.
  12. Hello everyone! I've been using the following hardware for some time now: GA-H77N-WIFI CPU: i7-3770 (LGA 1155) Video: integrated Intel HD 4000 via HDMI (About this mac: Reporting Intel HD 4000 1536MB) Storage: SSD Samsung 850 Evo 250GB Apple native support Wifi card (can't find the model at the moment) Presently I have 10.12.6 installed. I upgraded months ago to 10.12.3, and at that time, I had an old VGA monitor connected to the DVI input via a VGA to DVI adapter. The computer would start up and the resolution would be fuzzy. Somehow, I discovered if i unplugged the monitor and plugged it in, the resolution would fix. Since we left the computer on always, I didn't think much of it. I had posted about it and tried to see if anyone could give me an idea as to why it was doing it but no real answers came through. [sTILL NOT WORKING AT FULL REZ] Now, I discovered recently that Apple has said they don't support 3rd party adapters and VGA, so I upgraded to a new monitor: LG 25UM58-P 25-Inch 21:9 UltraWide IPS Monitor [THIS IS FIXED, THANKS!] I also upgraded to 10.12.6 before installing the monitor. The computer starts up using the usb install drive when i select my installation. But the video still looks fuzzy. I'm attaching a picture. https://goo.gl/photos/YsdM7KfE54WRE52D8 What do you think i'm missing? EFI folder attached. edited to include IoReg file. EFI.zip Send me gachovacho's iMac.zip
  13. My system: Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 BIOS F20 (latest), CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K Kaby Lake CHIPSET: Intel z170 Storage: Samsung 960 Pro m.2 1TB Ram: Patriot Viper 16 GB (2-8GB Sticks) DDR4-3400 Video: MSI Radeon 5700 /w HDMI audio patch (but was trying to use integrated graphics previously and couldn't get acceleration ) MaCOS Sierra 10.12.4, Monitor: LG 21:9 34UM88 34-Inch UltraWide QHD. I cloned my drive, do I need to do any housekeeping like repairing permsisions? I saw some tutorials that are 5 years old that say I need to. Also, I had my original drive and cloned drive plugged in at the same time and when I booted the system from my cloned drive with the cloned drive in it still, it would hang for long periods of time with the spinning pinwheel. I removed the original drive and it worked flawlessly. Any insight to why it would do that? Do I have to enable trim like with other SSD's do I? I'm attaching my IO Reg, hoping anyone with some time can tell me if i'm missing anything here also. Send me Gachogavacho's iMac.zip Gachogavacho's Imac.zip

    Flashing screen after 10.12.4 update

I have this same problem. I took my MSI 5770 out of another working hackintosh and it gave me this issue. This is the issue described in a youtube video. Shows windows dual boot working fine then Sierra. SO weird! This did not switch my issue, in fact. I downloaded the Display Maestro and the resolution actually shows mine with Millions of colors already. I also have a LG Ultrawide 21:9 monitor, could this be it?
  15. MSI Radeon HD 5770 I have a Secondary Build from an older machine running El Capitan. Gigabyte GA-H77N-WIFI - i3-3220 I'll have to get the HD 4000 integrated graphics running, but that will be a topic for another thread if I have problems. Probably pretty easy to change.
