alphadog00 Posted January 8, 2018 Share Posted January 8, 2018 I have installed OS X High Sierra on VMware player 12 on a surface book 2. The high resolution makes the fonts unreadable, so i disabled high DPI (override high DPI scaling behavior; scaling performed by system). This fixes the display issue but the mouse pointer changes from small point to large point to hand and constantly jumps back to lower right hand corner. Everything is fine outside the VM. I have not seen this mentioned before. Anyone run into this? Suggestions? Is Workstation 14 any better for this? Thanks for any suggestions. namvan Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 Maybe you would need to turn off Display Scaling. see the ref. screenshot below (please note that it is from the Workstation but I have checked the documentation online, Player has the same option).
