XoDeus
Hi all. I wonder how to mount a floppy drive and write files to it? I need to update my BIOS and don't know how to write to floppy.

XoDeus
No it can't be right. Is it not built in to the kernel? What if I run Windows on some virtualization? Maybe there are some hacks that enables the internal floppy drive?
Callysto
Floppy drives are not supported in Mac OS X unless you have a USB floppy drive. Then that leaves the problem of how to make a bootable floppy disc in Mac OS anyway. Although you could probably make a bootable CD much easier then put your files on that. Booted to knoppix copied files to floppy fired up the PC again and updated the BIOS.
