PPCnostalgic
Hi there. I'm running High Sierra 10.13.1 on my old HP Z400 workstation (see specs in signature). Everything is working fine, but I'd like to know about my AICPUPMkext. I'm using version 216 since Mavericks 10.9 through El Cap, Sierra and now High Sierra. This old kext version is a patched one otherwise the machine won't work for a constant kernel panic on boot due to AICPUPM. Can someone more skilled tell me something about this kext? Is it deprecated and should I use something else? I attached both the patched kext and my dsdt files. Thank you to everyone who's reading this post. PPCnostalgic
Hi Hervè and thank you for your answer. The kext is a patched version I found 3 years ago in a post-installation utility for Mavericks, the so called "MooltiBeest" from another well-known web site and since that time I've never been able to boot this HP without that kext, both El Cap and Sierra 'til High Sierra....
