Hi,

I've seen XCODE mentioned in one or two forum posts and also mention of a utility called Pacifist to "extract" elements out of "something" from a version of OS X obviously in an attempt to make something work.

Number of years back I got myself an iMac that I now know has OS X Leopard 10.5.4 that I still have and have kept safe, I'm glad about this.

Having looked into the folders I can see there is an XCODE folder with tools and what ever else I don't know anything about yet but I'm aware of it and making every effort hopefully to make the 2nd attempt a good one all round.

If anyone cares to elaborate on XTOOLS without going overboard and any other apps / utilities I may need please mention this.  I've already compiled a list and saved them but can't say they are well organized yet but it's a start.

Hopefully in a day or two I can make a start of #2 attempt - #1 wasn't a total disaster btw so as long as I can learn thoroughly as I go documenting the fixes when LAN doesn't work or something else doesn't work things should hopefully go well enough even if it is a bit slow.

Learning some of the navigation around OS X, within and editing files may be challenging - Anyhow, I'll leave it there for now - Thanks
