___ Posted November 11, 2006 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Hey all, I just managed to complete the installation of 10.4.8 by JaS but with some problems. Sound ( Intel Using ALC860 audio ) doesn't seem to work (it says no output device found) and the display (using Geforce 6 by Nvidia ) acts funny when I drag any window; it becomes transparent and I can only see the shadow and borders of the window. "USB also doesn't seem to work. when loading, it fails to load USBUHCIUI..." if anyone can help it would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

These will enable the use of non-apple cards (read without efi code flashed on them) to work with full qe/ci and res. change, courtesy of Apple graphics drivers. Titan kext goes in /System/Library/Extensions/ Follow these instruction completely (taken from http://omni.starchaser.org/titan/): Instructions - Put Titan kext in your /System/Library/Extensions/ folder - Correct the file premissions: sudo chown -R root:wheel Titan.kext; sudo chmod -R 755 Titan.kext - Remove the cached and packed extensions: sudo rm -f /System/Library/Extensions.mkext /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache - sync and reboot.
