sciblu06
I'm new to this forum. I decide to install MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 on my custom pc. My system board Rog Maximus IX code has wifi and bluetooth builded in. I understood the they would not work. I decide to buy an Apple wifi + BT airport card. The card I have is BCM94360CDAX from Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012LOT512/?tag=tonymacx86com-20. When I installed PCI-e card the wifi is recognized but not bluetooth. In system information under bluetooth, the manufacturer is unknown. Is there a way to fix it or is my card bad. sciblu06
WOW, I been trying figure out for a whole week why the bluetooth didn't work. My system board Z270 Asus Maximus code IX has wifi and bluetooth built in. Since you mention to disable them. I was able to go into the bios and disable both of them. Lo behold when the hackintosh booting up the bluetooth setting can be turned off and on. I never would have though the built in wifi and bluetooth on the system board would cause so much trouble. Thank you for helping me out.
