dewdrinker19 Posted October 6, 2005 Share Posted October 6, 2005 Hey everyone, I love the community that has been set up here. Excellent job! Anyway.... When I try to open up Sherlock and go to the movie channel it seams to take forever to load and never ends up loading. (happens with most toher channels too). When I first got osx86 running it worked fine but now it doesn't. I am on a P4 2.66 (SSE2 only). I used an install DVD that had an option to check for processors without SSE3 which I checked. Everything else works pretty dang good except for this. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. dewdrinker19 Posted October 7, 2005 Author Share Posted October 7, 2005 I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!!!! This is from some other website I found online... "Go to youruserfolder/Library/Caches/Sherlock/Web Foundations and toss the contents of the Web Foundations folder. Now click on that folder, press Command-I to bring up the Info window, and enable the Locked option. After doing this my copy of Sherlock opened and behaved itself quite nicely. The movies chan took forever to load and after doing the /Library/Caches/Sherlock/Web Foundations fix - Things started working better. But I still dont get VIDEO preview's... any ideas?
