Codplay
First time installing OSX, and the little newb in me has hit a little wall. I seem to be unable to run a number of applications, including the built in chess game, iChat, and the screensaver preview (you know - where you pick your screensaver. I can pick my desktop, but not my screensaver...) As said in the topic title, it's an IBM T42. - Pentium M 1.8 GHz - 512 MB ram - ATI Mobility RADEON 7500 (32 MB) (So, one of the older, lower power T42s - but it's still got enough guts. I am posting this from OSX. :pirate2: ) Any help would be awesome. ~Codplay Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32832-help-with-osx-on-an-ibm-t42/ Share on other sites
Bruce Wang
You have to enable OpenGL and QE of Radeon 7500. Below threads might help you. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=24574 http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=11134 Since 7500 has no support of CI, some screensavers still won't run.
