gritmaster
On a stock Dell GX620, boot off of Jas 10.4.5 DVD. After about 10 minutes, the PC switches to alight blue screen with the trademark macintosh cursor. I can move the mouse around but there is absolutely nothing on the screen. This is odd b/c the wiki seems to show no issues with this model. Any idea? department27
When you get eth first prompt on the DVD, press any key to install, press F8 and then -v enter. See what errors you get. I ahve a Dell 8400 with a NEC 2100 dvd drive and that gives me the same problem. In -v mode I see loads of errors with the DVD. I had to disable it in BIOS and let it install from an NEC 3500, which worked for me on all Build dvd's.
