kidstretch
I have an i7 7700k,Z170 Gigabyte Hackintosh, working with 2 monitors, one through HDMI and the other through DVI to HDMI cable. Is it possible to have audio running on the monitor that i have connected through the DVI to HDMI cable (it is a TV-PC monitor). Guest ricoc90
And just how would you expect audio to pass through the DVI output port ? Positive waves? More seriously, only 2 x types of display output ports also support audio signal: DP and HDMI. Here, have a read through... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01285675 Some cards support digital audio passthrough through DVI, although you'll need a HDMI adapter for it. But not all adapters work and even if, I highly doubt that the GT 710 supports it. Most of the time if a card supports it, the manufacturer will include the HDMI adapter in the package.
