Hi,

I read this MB has a VIA VT1708B audio card, is this correct?

Some information here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/254375-voodoohda-272-enable-p5kpl-am-via-vt1708b-with-sound/

If you need help editing the info.plist please attach the voodoohda.kext.

this is the file i tested (only showed digital out) not sure about the audio chip o n the motherboard but iam positive that  its indeed that chip since its in the specsheet

(sorry if i sound dumb first time clean install of hackintosh lol)

No worries, we all had to start somewhere.

After you selected the file you actually have to click "Attach this file" to attach it. The file has not been attached, and i will work on what is provided by the spec sheet.

i installed the kext from the guy you linked and it works perfectly (thx for linking it) now replace the internal speaker of the kiosk it cracks at 27 volume haha

The kext from the topic i linked is very old, i updated yours with the same id, glad it works.

ID: 0x27d88086

It was not in the range of your kext.

If you have this problem, just change format in Audio MIDI Setup to 96.000khz and channel to 2ch-24 bit integrer. It's working without noise and problem.

I always patched the AppleHDA, which should be removed when using Voodoo, forgot about that.

Love the censored. Well, if it works do not try to fix it. Enjoy. :)

For referrence, the changes in the info.plist:

			<key>IOPCIClassMatch</key>
			<string>0x04020000&0xfffe0000</string>

To:

			<key>IOPCIClassMatch</key>
			<string>0x27d88086</string>
