TrustAugustus
Does your laptop allow other efi loaders? Generally the easiest way for me to have clover boot is to install windows in UEFI mode. Then in the efi partition add your clover folder. Copy cloverx64.efi to microsoft/boot/ Rename bootmgfw.efi to bacbootmgfw.efi rename cloverx64.efi(the one you just pasted) to bootmgfw.efi You can then delete the windows install if you like. But keep the microsoft/boot/ in the EFI partition. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/326624-need-post-installation-guides-for-mac-sierra-10126/#findComment-2487509 Share on other sites

TrustAugustus
I am not sure how far along you are. Have you installed macOS successfully? You're asking about post installation guides so I assume you were able to install it successfully. What works and doesn't? For your wifi a short google search got me this 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/326624-need-post-installation-guides-for-mac-sierra-10126/#findComment-2487977 Share on other sites
Amarrrtya
successfully installed wifi kext ... now only 2 things remain to fix : 1. when boot into Sierra , the graphics is hazy for a short time at the loading bar but immediately fixed by itself...so is there any way to fix it ??? 2. At the time of booting, there is a speaker noise (which I assume voodoo hda enabling sound). so after log into Mac I've to change voodoo settings overtime...Is there any fix for that ??? Other than these two, Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6 is working like charm.... Thanks for all the supports and helps.... Thank You for Your reply .... TrustAugustus
That's great. There are some graphical glitches with Sierra. This patch should be entered into config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch. If you use rehabman clover config it should be there by default. You just have to enable it in clover (it is disabled by default).Comment: Boot graphics glitch, 10.10.x/10.11.x (credit lisai9093, cecekpawon)Name: IOGraphicsFamilyFind: 01000075 17Replace: 010000eb 17 With the audio, do you mean you have to change the settings every time you login? With voodoohda you can "right click and show package contents of the kext" there should be an info plist in there. You can change the settings in there and then reinstall the kext. It should then keep those settings on reboot. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/326624-need-post-installation-guides-for-mac-sierra-10126/#findComment-2488648 Share on other sites
Amarrrtya
Now new problems have appeared. 1. No screen Brightness Option in Display Preference. For this , I've tried intelgraphics.kext 2. Screen Won't Wake up after sleep. 3. Graphics is really slowed down at my Sierra desktop. (Animation Effects) 4. Trackpad is working but not preference is showing, so I can't change the values. 6. Battery Icon is not showing at the header. 5. Booting is slowed down, How to make it faster ? Thanks in advance... TrustAugustus
Hi 1. They changed the way brightness works in 10.12.4 ( I believe ) and IntelBacklight.kext and ACPIBacklight.kext are currently broken. There is a workaround. 2. This is a common problem. You likely need to patch your DSDT and then configure your clover. 3. This is a different computer? Maybe we should fix one computer at a time...and we need specific hardware information. 4. This is a laptop? Or a Magic trackpad? 6. DSDT patching is a must. 5. You probably have bad kexts being loaded or an old HDD.
