New Laptop

I'm looking to get a new laptop. I'm building it primarly for windows xp/vista, but I want to be able to have macosx on it and FCP/Motion. I've been looking at either the Dell Precision M65 or the Latitude D850. I'm leaning more and more towards the D850. Has anyone installed OSx on one of these machines if so is the support the same as the Inspiron which is everything but sound and wifi? Also has anyone had experience with Quadro NVS running with titan?

Make sure you get the Dell 1390 or 1490 wireless cards, you at least have a chance (probably very good, might even find it in the fourms already) but with the intel wireless you won't get it to work AFAIK. I had a D600 with a 1450 and I was able to download patched .kexts.

 

the quadro is new territory I think, maybe someone has experience.

I know there has to be at least one person that has osx on the d820 or d620. All I wanna know is will titan/natit work with the nVidia Quadro NVS 110m or 120m? If it does, does it give you full QE/CI/OpenGL? This is really the only thing holding me back from making the final decision to buy one. TIA
