captainwon
Hey guys. I have had a great time reading and trying out OSx86. I currently have my gateway laptop running Jas 10.4.7. It runs smooth and works pretty darm well. I only have 2 issues and from what I have read and read and tried and tried seems to be some pretty common issues. I have an ATI X600 Mobility Radeon ID # 54 62 in my machine that i just can't seem to get to work with CI QE. And of course my ethernet and wireless. But I want to work on one issue at a time. I have tried a few of the patches and all of the options but I think I am getting more confused the more I try and the more I read. I was just wanting to know where the scene is at right now. I have tried the Koverg patch a few times and I am sad to say I just cant get it to work. This is my first post so dont be to brutal. I want to learn. I have also tried the Castillo builds as well. koldo2k
Hi captainwon! I own a Toshiba laptop with X600SE working. Try Callisto B006 first, and then koverg for QE and CI. Good luck! ___________________________________ Hackintosh: Pentium M750 1,86 GHz SSE2 / Chip 915 PM / 1Gb DDR2 / ATI X600SE / Audio AC97 / 10.4.
abubin
hmm...I remember seeeing Jas 10.4.8 installation having an option to install drivers for x600 mobile chipset. You could try that if you want. It should have been tested to be working or else Jas wouldn't have added it into his installer.

And to the poster above X600SE device ID is 5462. May be X600SE is different to X600 Anyway i tried the scripts here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=30084 And i got it working with the script above. And i mention how i did the extra step in one of the post in the above thread.
