hitman478
Hello, I try to get the HDMI Port working on my Dell Inspiron 17 N7110. Currently I use SMBIOS 8.1 in Clover. The System Specs are: Intel Core I3 2310. Graphic Card Intel HD3000, Nvidia GT525 (not deactivated yet) and Soundcard Realtek ALC269. I tried different Framebuffer Patches which I did directly in theAppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext but none of them are working. I tried for example to change the value of 02050000 00040000 07000000 to 02050000 00080000 05000000 and I did the same also to 0304 and 0406 but I couldn't get the HDMI Port to work. I will attach my Clover Folder and also an IOReg. Thanks for your help. hitman478
Thanks for your reply. Do you mean then that I should not Inject Intel in Clover and instead I should Inject the nVidia Grahpic Card to see if the HDMI Output working or can I also Inject both nVidia and Intell to see if it will work? Can you also tell me if the nVidia GT 525M will run without the nVidia WebDriver or should I use it then? I have also tested it in an Ubuntu Live CD and there I can get HDMI Output but I can't tell here if an Nvidia Driver was loaded there or not. Thanks. hitman478
I tested it now when I only Inject the nVidia Grahpics Card but there I won't get any picture on the internal screen nor via HDMI. Then I don't know if the HDMI port is really wired to the DGPU. I have an unlocked BIOS on this Laptop but I don't find any option to disable Optimus. Are you sure that my Framebuffer Patches were correct? hitman478
I have tested your Framebuffer Patch for test and it is also not working. Then it could be that the HDMI Port is wired to the nVidia GPU and no to the Intel GPU. Is there maybe an other way to see it to which Graphic Card the HDMI is wired?
