  1. Do you know, if there is any new progress about the Thunderbol 3 on the XPS 9550? My Thunderbolt Device is only recognized at boot and adter a Sleep it doesn't work anymore. I tried also the IOElectrify Kext but that didn't work for me. Sorry if this has maybe asked again before.
  2. @wmchris I don't have the VoodooI2C Kexts installed, because of the High CPU Usage, but the Fans also get very loud, when there is a little bit load on the CPU. It seems that OS X doesn't lower the Fan Speed, when the CPU has no more load in it. Maybe because it can't read properly the Fan RPMs-
  3. @golimpio Thanks, I have tested the Turbo Boost Switcher and my CPU is according to this 36 degrees but the Fan is still running on high RPM. The Tool also doesn't recognise my Fan RPM. Do you have maybe another hint for me?
  4. Does anyone also has the problem, that the Fans are always running? My CPU temperature is around 40 degrees and the Fans are still running? Is there any fix for this? The VoodooI2CHID.kext also uses much CPU on my System. If I delete this Kext, then the CPU usage is normal. I think I have read that this should be fixed.

    OpenCore Discussion

I have tried to boot with OpenCore on my Dell XPS 9550 and after I have selected the Boot Partition with OS X Catalina, I only get a Black Screen and nothing happens anymore. Can you please have a look and check, what I did wrong? Thanks. EFI.zip
  6. I have updated today to 10.14, but the internal Display will stay black, when it comes back from Sleep. Is there any fix for this? Under HS I didn't have this problem.
  7. I have also installed the I2C Kexts but the Touchpad doesn't work for me with this Kext. Installed also the SSDT-XOSI and the Device TPD1 is also there according to IOReg. Did I something wrong or is this a Bug? The Keyboard works normal. With the ApplePS2SmartTouchPad.kext I have no problems with my Touchpad.
  8. I have an OS X and Windows dual boot. Do you need the EFI Folder which is in the Root of the EFI Partition?

    AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

I only have in this system an Intel HD 630 Graphics Card. The system I don't have added to my signature yet. I got the HDMI Sound already to work but thanks for your tip.

    AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

That is really strange. Now I don't get any sound anymore. When I plugin now my Headphones it detects that an Headphone is there but I don't get any sound on it. It doesn't work on front and rear connectors. I see in IOReg that AppleALC has loaded, DO you have any solution for this? When I did the fresh install of Sierra then it has worked on time. Edit: I think I have found the issue, it looks like that it has something to do with FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext or FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext when I remove this then sound is working again.

    AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

I did now a completely reinstall with Sierra 10.12.6 and Injected Layout ID 1 and now I have working Sound on Front and Rear Line In. The Microphone Port I couldn't test because I have currently no headset with this Port. The HDMI Audio also don't work but I think I have to patch that. Thanks for your help @arsardu

    AppleALC — dynamic AppleHDA patching

Hello, can someone patch the AppleALC for my Realtek ALC892? I tried every layout for this codec but I don't get any sound via the from or rear line Out. The Microphone ports I couldn't test. I have attached my Codec Dump. Thank you. CodecDump.zip
  14. I have now disabled in Syspref -> Energy the Option that it wakes when there is an WiFi Traffic detected. I only have this Option in german language then I think it is not properly translated by me but I think you know what I mean. That is my iPerf Result before Sleep and that is after Sleep
  15. I can also reproduce this problem. I did an iPerf Test on my local network before and after Sleep. Before Sleep the highest value was 141 Mbit/s and after Sleep I got only around 20 Mbit/s
