Kolossus
Hi Guys, maybe this question came up already, I couldn't find it though. I Successfully installed OSX 10.4.8 (SSE 3 only) from JaS, but after restarting my computer I only get the grey logo an the rotating thing in the middle (I've been waiting for quite some time now). The only thing that appears is some extra logo overlaying the apple in the middle, it's a circle with a line crossing it from topleft to bottomright. Does anybody know what this might be due to? I have a SSE3-CPU (Centrino Core Duo). Greetings
Kolossus
I probably made a mistake while customizing the installation..... I'll have another try.... THX
Xeijin
It might be the root device error that's pretty common, when you boot into mac, at the Darwin x86 Bootloader, type -v and hit return. Then read the last few lines of text when everything stops, that should give you a clue as to what's going on. If it is the root device error, search the forums for a solution. Also, you've posted this in the wrong forum, this forum is for tutorials, next time post in the OSX Installation or Post Installation sections.
