Hi,

Im trying to get my Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 to work in my Mac Pro 3.1.

I found this thread and I tried flashing the bios onto my card with no luck.

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311454-efi-bios-for-sapphire-hd5450/

Im getting an error about the ROM chip not being big enough, is there a smaller ROM I can flash?

I also have a Dell Radeon HD 5450, which i think has a bigger chip as it shows up with the same chip as my 6950 in ATIWinFlash (the 6950 uses 128kb roms).

Does anyone have the efi files for the 5450, I think I can integrate them into the ROM myself.

EDIT:

I tried using this to update the rom files of both the dell and the sapphire:

Im still getting the same error:

UPDATE:

I was able to sucessfully flash my Radeon HD 7750 using the tool I linked above and ATIWinFlash.

However, when I install the card in both my Mac Pro 1.1 and 3.1 I get no signal (not even when they are past the boot screen).

Does anyone know how to fix this?
