thunder.scripts
I'm sorry, but I'm a bit lost. Is there any way to install 10.4.8 on AMD without upgrading from a previous version? I have JaS dvd, but appearently it's only for intel. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32298-1048-on-amd/ Share on other sites
plas
Ive tried replacing the kernel on the intel 10.4.8 dvd with semthex's kernel. That allowed me to boot further through the process in vmware but hangs up after loading a few drivers. There is meant to be a patch coming out for the intel disk so that it will work on amds. spanakorizo
its complicated there is one way here http://paste.uni.cc/11382 this is for load the titan but in order to load the titan you have to be on full 10.4.8 so this is for 10.4.8 also but its not like 1,2 steps and ready you need to download many stuff and change many stuff in installation (in this guide) others claim that have installed 10.4.8 with different methods everybody has something to say .. i donwload right now the latest (not corrupted) JAS ISO and i'll w8 for ppf patches im so tired of reinstalling OSX so many times when you have to replace 2,3 kexts and cant boot its easy to bring them back but when you have to modify all the system and something goes wrong the only way back is reinstalling AMD64 3000 ASUS A8V DELUXE Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/32298-1048-on-amd/#findComment-226423 Share on other sites
