I have a working sierra installation on a dedicated ssd and would like to play around with the latest .4 release. I created a new clover installer USB and tried to boot with the USB . I was able to install into another dedicated ssd. The system restarts after copying files and when I come back to clover boot loader and select install from USB , the initial process starts again instead of continuing with the rest of the installation . Can someone help me out understanding what is going on ?

 

 

Thanks that works. But the computer does random reboots, while working , while idle. How do i find the reboot reason ? I searched console logs but I dont find any text matching cause or reboot.

-Replace Clover folder

CLOVER.zip

-Generate ur SSDT fot PM and put SSDT.aml in Clover/Acpi/Patched

ssdtPRGen.command.zip

-Put codec commander in S/L/E

CodecCommander.kext.zip

-Run KextUtility

Kext Utility.app.zip

 

-Reboot and send me new ioreg

Please find the speed step data and the new ioReg output. The one weird thing I see from boot log, even though I removed voodooHDA from my clover and added your clover kexts, since my other SSD is the primary boot device all the kexts from the other SSD is loading instead of new ones. Any idea why ?

There were two SSDT.aml inside one on root folder and other on ~/Library/ssdtPRGen/ACPI/

copied ssdt.aml from the root folder to EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched. 
  • need generate c3 - I Tried generate C states from clover but that didn't work. Can you explain how to enable it ?

  • Removed VoodooTSCSync.kext

  • Use only one folder kexts in Clover, or 10.12 or Other - Removed from 10.12 and moved to Other.

  • Package Power Limit #1............... : 4095 Watt - Is it a problem ? I see from some thread its too high.

Mald0n patched my BIOS. I did a fresh installation and used the clover folder from this thread. C3 states are still not generated. How does the output look ? Also the machine restarts after coming from sleep.

 

  • Since MST unlocked do i need to use XPCM patches ?
  • Can you please point me how I can configure to boot two different Hackintosh installations with their individual EFI folders.
