Mehrab
Hello, I have recently tried to install El Capitan on my PC built with a Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI, i5 7400 7th Gen intel CPU and AMD Rx480 GPU. Everytime I try to load up the El Capitan installer it crashes and reboots. The reboot happens quickly and I cannot read what the error message is. I used the Skylake Start Guide over here: With USBInjectAll and IOAPICFIX. Also, using the used the Intel power kext modified for UEFI and NullPowerManagment.kext and a ton of different boot flags and kernel CPU support patches. Can someone help me with loading up this installer I am stuck. Also, need help patching my DSDT.aml dump for my Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI motherboard? (Dump from AIDA64) Attached Below are my DSDT and SSDT files DSDT.zip
0000-1248
Use FakeCPUID to fake a Skylake chip. Have a go at this Clover file. Credit goes to Maldon for it.
