agent_stewie
hmm i think that the reason my vmware image goes slow is because of the quartz not able to render the screen because of no 3d acceleration. i dont know what to do from here. I am using an ATI RADEON Mobility X1300.. note that i am running this in vmware, and not on bootup.

REVENGE
So basically you just need a solution to increase the responsiveness of your OS X on VMWare? Well first of all, VMWare will not allow you to have any 3D acceleration at all in OS X, so forget that route. Secondly...VMWare has always just run OS X like shiit for me so, *shrug* . Other people may have better ideas, keep hoping...

Trombone_Bob
From pages 383-388 of the VMWare Workstation manual: Add the following to the configuration (.vmx) file for the virtual machine mks.enable3d=true svga.vramSize=67108864 Also if you enable 3d you should use the line vmmouse.present = false This disables the 3d acceleration of the imput device.
