jimbobo
Hello, i recently downloaded dreamweaver, I mount it and double click on the install icon but the only thing that happens is the logo appears on the dock for a split second and then disappears and nothing happens. I really need this software to complete my coursework. P.S its a Sony VAIO VGNFS215Z running 10.4.
jester1o1
You have to drag the Dreamweaver icon into your applications folder and double click it there. Os X does not have 'install' for applications.

xtreme571
Wait...is it the install ICON (BROWN BOX) or its the program icon? Did you try re-downloading it? Do u have SSE3? or SSE2? It is possible some programs might not run on SSE2. Also some programs require QE & CI support and wont run if you dont have that support. Give more details about your system. Model number doesnt give anyone any info and looking up sony specs is pain.

jester1o1
right click on it and do a get info - that will tell you what type of package it is. better yet - download the real thing from Macromedia and try that.
