FALLOFMAN Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 I try to inject fakesmc into the extensions folder using kext wizard, it installs it but then I get a pop up window saying "system extension cannot be used fakesmc.kext was installed improperly and cannot be used" Im using an asus p8z 77v lx motherboard and an i5 3570k processor Also, after I installed clover, when I boot up my pc, it goes straight to windows and clover bootloader doesn't even load I chose customize and clicked UEFI during install of clover Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/320559-fakesmc-error/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
liujianwei Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 FakeSMC.kext:6.21-311-g2958f55.1723 RealtekR1000SL.kext:3.1.2, Copyright Daemon 2006, Chuck Fry 2009, Slice 2013 Installed by Kext Wizard with no problem, no prompt, no need for rebuild kernel cache I am using latest clover with below install method without CSM and windows Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP Drivers64UEFI OsxAptioFixDrv-64 with default config except 10.11 usb patch Patches Comment EH01 Find RUhDMQ== Replace RUgwMQ== Comment EH02 Find RUhDMg== Replace RUgwMg== And I do not get your problem, you can do my easy request to exclude problem.
