Since I'm very dissapointed that my builtin wireless on my IBM T42p isn't supported, and I really never have the ability to be plugged in, i went for the easy solution. MacOSX is installed natively (i used deadm00s image before, but I will be doing from DVD to test later), and I dual boot with XP. Installed VMware, and i have vmware access the physical hard drive. I share my wireless network with the vmnet bridge, boot up the OSx install in vmware, install Maxxuss' amd pcnet patach, and walaa! Running MacOSX (really not much of a speed difference on my laptop running in vmware and natively) with wireless networking ... mcdull Posted October 25, 2005 Share Posted October 25, 2005 you better get a USB wireless device like ASUS / Belkin.. They have native OSX driver support.. (tho not very mature and stable) I just spent 3 hours to get my new notebook to work with the wireless environment. But I really regret that the built-in ethernet not working.
