Since I'm very dissapointed that my builtin wireless on my IBM T42p isn't supported, and I really never have the ability to be plugged in, i went for the easy solution. MacOSX is installed natively (i used deadm00s image before, but I will be doing from DVD to test later), and I dual boot with XP. Installed VMware, and i have vmware access the physical hard drive. I share my wireless network with the vmnet bridge, boot up the OSx install in vmware, install Maxxuss' amd pcnet patach, and walaa! Running MacOSX (really not much of a speed difference on my laptop running in vmware and natively) with wireless networking ... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mcdull Posted October 25, 2005 Share Posted October 25, 2005 you better get a USB wireless device like ASUS / Belkin.. They have native OSX driver support.. (tho not very mature and stable) I just spent 3 hours to get my new notebook to work with the wireless environment. But I really regret that the built-in ethernet not working.
