Sierra on KVM

Hi!

Just introducing myself to the forum with my setup and system specs :D

MSI B150i

i7 6700k

16GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance

4 x 512GB Kingston SSDNow drives in RAID 10

EVGA GTX 960 SSC

I run Sierra 10.12.2 in a KVM through libvirt and absolutely love it! No hardware compatibility issues whatsoever running it this way, and I only lose about 5% of my CPU performance (at least according to Geekbench). I pass my GPU through to MacOS directly to benefit from all of the awesomeness that comes with a dedicated GPU.

Feel free to ask any questions!

The i3 6100 is a very capable CPU - I've used it for MacOS on KVM before and it worked flawlessly. You can pick it up for about £100 GBP

I have an i7 2600k @4.4 ghz. I'm more than happy with the performance. My next machine will definitely be a VM host though...
