llamafilm
In OS 10.12.2, since enabling auto-login in sys prefs, it works about 90% of the time. Other times, it boots to a black screen with a mouse cursor, which apparently is the login screen. If I simply type my password and hit enter, then the desktop GUI comes up immediately and everything is fine. vusun123
Thanks. Does it only happen when auto-login is enabled? I have auto-login on my 2012 MBP and yes, it does happens like 60% of the time. Not sure on my iMac since I don't use auto-login ( confidential data to the company is stored in that one ) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/319878-black-screen-with-cursor-with-auto-login/#findComment-2343975 Share on other sites
