Hello Everyone!

I have new Skylake Laptop Acer Aspire E15 with these specs:
Intel Core i3 6100u 2.3GHZ

Nvidia 940MX (Can run HD 520 instead of this card)

4GB DDR4 RAM

The Question

Did someone managed to run El Capitan on this Skylake Processor?

Can you help me build working USB Installation?

THANKS IN ADVANCE! :)

My guess is you have an Acer Aspire E 15 E5-574G model or a model somewhat equivalent to the hardware setup. Yes, people have gotten 10.11.4 and newer working on it. Google "Acer Aspire E 15 E5-574G osx86"

The included wireless/bluetooth combo card Qualcomm QCA9377 802.11ac and isn't supported. You can open up your laptop and replace it with a Broadcom BCM4352 and that'll give you 11ac wireless and bluetooth.

Gigabit LAN is Realtek RTL8168 which is supported. Same with Intel Graphics, USB3. I'm reading some people had issues with Audio support but I can't figure out what HDA codec it uses at the moment.

If you have access to OS X on another computer or have OS X running on a VM image you can follow this to start creating install media: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/305255-making-a-10101011-usb-installer-w-clover-uefi-and-legacy-the-correct-way/

Setting up install media for El Capitan is essentially the same as Sierra, just change the name when appropriate.

Do you have KernelPm enabled in the clover settings? You need that for Skylake processors.

Here's a config.plist you can start with and see if it fixes your reboot issue: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/config_HD520_530_540.plist

Be sure and read what I write. Skylake support was added in 10.11.4.

So at Sierra boot im not getting reboots that is great progress :D

 AppleIntelLpssI2CController=getting stuck here

I think it will be better at this point to lock this topic and make new at Sierra thread

Thank you very much  nawcom :)
