I think RTL8169 works with 10.4.7 can somebody send me the kexts and info.plist for that? DeamoEs why doesn't it work man? Both cards say inactive when I install them and RTL8169 crashes in a few minutes after boot. It say you must turn your computer off in a black screeen in different languages... what the heck? spugna Posted November 9, 2006 Share Posted November 9, 2006 Same here. Integrated 8100C on an AMD ATI motherboard: broke after the 10.4.8 upgrade to semthex kernel. It returns available and functional when I substitute the pre-upgrade IOPCIFamily.kext - from JaS' 10.4.6- to the new one. But that makes the whole system impossibly sluggish.
