10.4.7 installer app doesnt work

I just installed 10.4.7(with amd sse2 patch) yesterday. everything works decenty. but I cant install anything, the installer app starts when I click on a pkg file, but it keeps waiting and I can never click continue (it always stay gray) while the cursor shows its busy (rotating wheel)

My system has a athlon 64 3000+ (754, sse2 only)

1gb ram

motherboard gigabye k8u (uli chipset)

geforce 6600gt apg video card

 

I installed using JaS 10.4.7 dvd (and selected amd sse2 update)
