frankiee
I am looking at a Titan X (Maxwell) flashed for use in a Mac Pro. Will this also work OK (and without restrictions) in a Hackintosh? Should be able to boot into Windows as well. joe75
It will work fine in a PC. In a hack or a mac it will have the same restrictions of not having a working driver. Its a waste of your time and money. frankiee
Why no working driver? I mean its Maxwell chip, right? So it should work with Webdrivers? joe75
yes, its working up to gtx 680 or gt 755 mobile. 770 matching the 680 is the max in performance. If the price is good then you might be happy with it. If its a new price I personally wouldn't spend the extra money. So, my original Titan works with both drivers. For Maxwell, these cards only works with the Web Driver, but they work as well. The only thing that does not work right now is Pascal. joe75
Kepler is the last supported chipset in MacOS. The basic support we have for Maxwell is just that, basic support. "Web" drivers are made for authentic mac cards only and ones that they actually used! We are fortunate to have the support thats there now..
