Henzigo
Hi i have problem with my ethernet connection on Sierra. I tried many kext drivers. Last one i used Realtek8111.kext version 2.2.1 and it one time without any changes worked and showed my ethernet card in "System Report", but after restart again i didnt have any ethernet cards in "System Report". There are my IOReg screens when ethernet worked: and there is IOReg screen normally: I tried maybe every guide on this forum but without any success. In verbose mode last message from realtek kext is "Region #2 not an MMIO resource, aborting." Ty for reply. rednaz ugly
Hey, You are not alone, ... I got the same error and tried also many kexts without luck. My notebook is a ACER ASPIRE E5 571 7366 - running Sierra 10.12, i7 5500U, HD5500 and 4G RAM. When the kext RealtekRTL8111 is loaded and I try to shutdown I can see a panic error related with this kext and my computer restart. I let you know if a have the solution, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/317933-realtek-8168-doesnt-work/#findComment-2318523 Share on other sites
