Markf028
Hey guys, I have successfully installed Yosemite on my Dell Inspiron 3521 using this guide - http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/299911-dell-inspiron-3x21-5x21-clover-install-guide-dell/?hl=+dell%20+inspiron%20+3521 Massive thanks for that, too! However, I wish to now update, or fresh install Sierra using the same guide. I have tried to follow it to the best of my ability, however, I cannot boot into the installer. Is the method above no longer applicable for Sierra, or am I doing something wrong? I will answer any questions you may, or may not, have for me in a bid to solve my dilemma! I have also tried to update my Yosemite install directly, by downloading Sierra from the app store, updating clover and copying essential kexts to the other folder. This results in a circle with a diagonal line through it! I do hope some light can be shed, and I do apologise for being a bit vague - I'll add any information needed, should I be asked for it. Thank you for your time, any help will be appreciated! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/317527-update-help-required/ Share on other sites
