[Solved] Using Leopard 10.5.8 and Snow Leopard 10.6.8 in Clover

Hello,

I have a Zotac GeForce 9300 ITX and have installed Mavericks 10.9.5, Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and Leopard 10.5.8. Of course I want to get all versions booting in Clover, but both Leopard versions won't boot. They start, but quit soon with a 'OS Version Not Yet Set' kernel panic. Both systems are booting from Chimera if I use an USB stick as boot device. On my Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H and my Thinkpad X61t Snow Leopard is booting from Clover.

Is there a Clover Configurator which is still compatible to 10.6.8? Snow Leopard is the best version for my Thinkpad x61t. It's a bit weird: When booting from Clover my Bluetooth controller is detected, when booting from Chimera it isn't even shown in the PCI device list.

Greets, naquaada.

It is not reachable at this moment.

Just to say. Clover was developed on this Dell Inspiron and tested on it. All Clover versions from 206 up to recent works here.

This is a report from 2013

I found a solution for this problem: Delete or rename AppleEFIRuntime.kext in /System/Library/Extensions. Both versions will boot fine then.

Now there must be a Clover fix for the USB 3.0 issue.
