hayhay7789 Posted September 18, 2016 Share Posted September 18, 2016 Hi, so I just finished installing OS X El Capitan on my PC from a Clover install USB. Unfortunately I made the usb a while ago and can't remember what guide I used. the problem i'm having right now is with the installer and the kernel. i am trying to follow this guide to patch my kernel and make the computer bootable. the problem is I cannot find a /System/Library/Kernels/kernel on my install USB, and therefore am not able to proceed with the guide and making the computer run. I have tried shift+command+g in finder on a friend's mac, but to no avail. :/ i have installed el capitan using this usb drive before but that was several months ago so i can't really remember everything i did. anyone have any tips? I did some searching online and it said this should still work.
