Hi guys, I recently decided to give OS X, it's been sort of trial and error but so for almost everything is working for me. I created a USB bootable installer then installed the latest legacy clover on it. No sound or network after boot so I used ##### to easily install the missing drivers, I chose the ALC889 codec as well as HDMI one, also got the network up and running. The clover disk install didn't work but at least I got some of the missing drivers. The sounds works ok over HDMI but nothing comes out from the 3.5 jacks.

It seems to me that the system is only loading the HDMI drivers, I thought it would use all the required drivers simultaneously or maybe I am missing the proper driver. Any ideas guys? By the way, my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3

Thanks for your reply, actually while trying different solutions I came up with the following program which installed the correct driver, all the audio outs are working now:

I will take a look at AppleALC in case I need to update in the future and to understand how it works.
