Vinicius P. Miranda
I have this problem for a few generations of OSX, and I never figured out how to solve it. My processor is recognized as: Unknown. I tried to find a tutorial to solve it, but not could find. The processor works well, it seems that the problem is only aesthetic. Have any way to recognize my processor correctly? Any tutorial ? My processor is: Intel i7 3930k The system is in Portuguese. Recognition is as Unknown Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/314869-how-to-recognize-the-processor-in-1011/ Share on other sites
Riley Freeman
Using Clover you can set a fake CPU ID. This will make the 3930k show up as a 6-Core Xeon. <key>CPU</key> <dict> <key>Type</key> <string>0x501</string> </dict> 2 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/314869-how-to-recognize-the-processor-in-1011/#findComment-2273331 Share on other sites
